The inter State youth Exchange and home stay programmed is to develop personality

Shillong November 22: The Governor of Meghalaya R S mooshahary said that amidst being a land of diversity, there is pride with the people of the country as they are one in their identity.

Addressing the inaugural session at the inter State youth Exchange and home stay programmed held at Bharat Scouts and Guides Hall organized by the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Youth Development in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) regional Centre, Guwahati and Meghalaya on Thursday Mooshahry talked about the uniqueness of North East region and about the different culture and traditions which have been scheduled from the rest of the country even today.

The inter State youth Exchange and home stay programmed is to develop personality, to imbibe the value of national and emotional integration, to appreciate others traditional and culture heritage, to learn their different life style,, language, culture and historical values beside others.

The ten-days programmed will also include sharing of experiences, seminars on important issues like communication, health, gender, life skill, they will visit Khasi festival and others so that their will be sharing of ideas amongst the students coming from different states in the country.
