Shillong, Sept 20: The Joint Action Committee All Teachers Association Meghalaya (JACATAM) in their emergency meeting held today has decided to accept the request of the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma to meet the Chief Secretary to discuss about their demand.
The Chairman of the JACATAM told SP News Agency that the meeting between the Chief Secretary and the JACATAM has been fix on the 30th if this month. With this acceptance of meeting the chief secretary the organization has kept in abeyance all the agitation for the time being.
The JACATAM will see what will be the outcome from the meeting, the organization hope that since the meeting with the Chief secretary is the direction from the Chief minister what will be discuss on that day will be the view of the Chief minister.
From the government, apart from the Chief Secretary, the principal secretary education, Director of the Education department, Executive Chairman of the MBOSE Ect will be present in the meeting from the government.(SP News)
