The JCMDA seek home minister intervention due to frequent kidnap of coal traders from Jaintia Hills

Shillong, June 09: The Jiantia Coal Miners and dealers Association has sent  a petition to the home minister of Meghalaya Smti  Roshan Warjri seek her intervention to tackle the criminals activates the coal belt areas of Jaintia Hills where coals traders where kidnap very frequently by criminals.

The JCDMA said that in the last few month more than five person where kidnap by unknown miscreant for ransom.  Most the kidnapers after taking the person in their captivity they will make a phone call to their relative and demanded huge sum of money for tier released.

The People who where living in the coal belt areas,  in Jaintia Hills lives with fear. From the JCMDA aked the home minister to deploy more forces in the  district to tackle the crime that taken place in that area. (SP News)
