The JSU kept the propose 22 hours band in abeyance till 15 August

 

Jowai, July 30: The Jaintia Student  Union (JSU)  to day has decided to kept the propose 22 hours band in abeyance  till 15 August  next month since the government has appointed Dr Nongbri  to take charge for the Blood Bank at the Civil Hospital Jowai.

The President  of the JSU while informing their decision to the SP News Agency said that they have take this decision after the state government has appointed Dr Nongbri  to take charge as the in-charge of the Blood Bank at Jowai Civil Hospital.

He also inform that from the government also had assure the student union that they will give in writing about the assurance that was assure to them by the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma.

Since the government has  show  the sing of  complying to their demand the JSU in the meeting held today  has decided to kept the propose 22 hours band in abeyance till 15 August next  month. If the government  do not comply with this period the JSU will go for agitation said the president  of the JSU.(SP News)
