Shillong, Oct 30: The executive member of the KHADC Mr Antonio War who is in charge trade while replying to the resolution move by Lambor Malngniang said that the KHADC has cancel more than 900 trading license.
The EM also told the house that at present there are 5770 trading license that the KHADC has issued to traders. To put more stringent measure the KHADCV has put a condition that all license holder should also furnished with the police report.
The police verification is mandatory for both fresh applicant and thus who want to renew their license. If they cannot compile with these condition the application cannot be accepted and will not renew.
When it come to Iewduh, the EM told the house that the KHADC has written to the Syiem of Hima Mylliem that the Hima should not give NOC for fresh applicant.
During guestion hours the EM in charge building M Kharpran said that the amount sanction for the construction of the KHADC dorbar is Rs.4.74 core, from the amount mention the KHADC has received one core to start the work. The contractors who is doing the construction work is Mr DG marbaniang. (SP News)
