BSF were not taking public inputs into account when doing border dominations and there is when I decided to approach the people, talked to them about the difficulties they faced with the BSF and how changes could be brought so that the public get the most benefit out of it, and so the timings for the gates were changed as per the convenience of the public for their cultivation, patrolling were done to protect their crops and we also got Village Defense Party (VDP) involved hence i can proudly say that I was able to bridge the gap, ” IG Sudesh Kumar said with a slight smile on his face.
