Shillong, August 13: The members of the Meghalaya Democratic Party (MDP from Mawkynrew let bu it president Mr Klip Lynshing and more than twenty party men today officially joint the Congress Party.
With the Joining of the MDP members it come as boost to the Congress party for the coming MDC election due in 2014, said the Block Congress president Mr Kynshen Lynshing today at Shillong Press club.
Mr Klip said that they have decided to joint the Congress party after the MDP party has fail to win any seat in the last election. After taking into account they MDP supporter fill that there is no anthers parties in the state that con served the people better then the Congress.
After their consultation among the MDP workers they have decided to joint the Congress and they will work hard for the party to make sure that in the coming MDC election in 2014 the Congress candidate want the election.(SP News)
