Shillong, Nov 24: The board meeting of the Meghalaya Electrical Corporation Limited (MeECL) which was held on the 18th of this month has taken the decision that only thus people who have work at the Lehska project up to 2008 will be regularizes their services.
The Director of the Myntdu Lehska Project Elias Lyngdoh told SP News Agency that the decision of the Board which is taken on the meeting that 13 of them who are land owners were regularizes their services.
The Director said that their still many of them that are yet to be regularizes but as the board has to see also the overall scenario in the state, in which many of them who has served the Board has not been regularizes.
There are more than one thousand employees who have served with the board before 2004. The Board has to consider for them also regularizing their services.
While answering to quires Mr Lyngdoh said that the synjuk ki rangbah shnong has call of their proposed strike after the board has taken the decision and the discussion with them.(SP News)
