The MHC agrees to have special court to tried the arrested agitator on ILP

Shillong, Oct 02: The Chief  Minister Dr Mukul Sangma said that the Meghalaya High Court has agrees to put up the Special Court for trial of thus people who were arrested on the on going agitation of the inner line permit.

The Chief minister said that no one is above the law, the law will take it own course. The Government is firm in tackling low and order situation in the state and its is duty bound of  the state government to do so.

The government has asked all the Deputy Commissioner to compile the losses that occurred during the agitation. If  the court found guilty that the damages is due to the agitation, the sponsor will have to compensate.

The Chief minister said that the government is firm in tackling the low and order situation in the state. The Government is putting all its sincere effort to tackle influx and illegal immigration.

On the allegation that he is a dictator, the chief minister said that let them call what ever they like. The chief minister said that the government is ready to discuss in the floor of the house on the issue.(SP News)
