Shillong, Feb 18: The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India is organizing a Passport Mela at the proposed building of the Mini Passport Seva Kendra, Lower Lachumiere, near DIPR Shillong on the 22nd February 2014. This was informed by the Regional Passport Officer.
During the Mela, there will also be a mini opening of the Mini Passport Seva Kendra where the Joint Secretary, Passport Seva Project & Chief Passport Officer Mr Muktesh K.Pardeshi IFS will be present on the occasion.
The Passport Mela in Shillong is being conducted for public convenience, till the time when the Mini Passport Seva Kendra becomes fully operational. Applicants are to make online registration for Passport at www.passportindia.gov.in.(SP News)
