Shillong, Feb 03: Meghalaya Congress Pradesh Election Committee met at the residence of MPCC chief Dr. DD Lapang on Monday to decide about the application form of aspiring candidates.
In the meeting it was unanimously decided to extend the date for the receipt of applications from the aspiring candidates for the 1-Shillong parliamentary constituency up to the 6th February 4
pm.
A press communique issued in this regard states that this was necessitate since the AICC have not fixed the deadline for the submission of the application for the Meghalaya state.(SP News)
