Shillong, June 10: The frontal women wings of the Congress in Meghalaya have asked the state government to firmly deal with the rapist. The Meghalaya Pradesh Mahila Congress (MPMC) asked the government not to spare any body which position they hold the culprit should be punished.
The president of the MPMC Smti Ebel M War said that in their meeting which held recently they have discussed at length about the incident of rape that has taken place urgently in the state. From the MPMC they condemn to all crime related particularly the heinous crime of rape.
The women folk at present are not safe even in their own house. The MPMC asked the state government which rule by the Congress to take up the matter seriously and the culprit should be punished. The government should fine out where ever they hide and punished them accordingly, said Smti Ebel M War. (SP News)
