Shillong, July 29: The conglomeration of different organization has mobilized public support for the public meeting that they will hold on the 1st of August against the New Shillong Township which the government want to acquired the land of the public at Diengphatsoh.
Speaking to SP News Agency Mrs Angela Ryngad said that “ we request the people to come and attend this public Rally which will be held at Madan Student on the First of August”
The public meeting is to make the people aware about the motive of the government how to acquired public land through dubious means which the NGO’s are against it.
The NGos today hold a meeting at Siejiong to seek the support of the people from the area who were directly affected by the propose land acquisition move by the government.(SP News)
