Shillong, May 12: A day after the Registrar of CMJ University Mrinal Kanti Deb and Deputy Registrar Premlal Rai was arrested by the State Crime Investigation department, search still continues to find out the CMJ director M. Kaur and human resource manager Juban Kharpuri who already had applied for an anticipatory bail.
Even as Kaur and Kharpuri had already applied for an anticipatory yet it was rejected by the district court. However, the whereabouts of these two persons were not known.
CID sources informed that these missing person have been booked under sections 420, 466 and 406 of the IPC.
On the other hand Premlal Rai who was arrested earlier was admitted in the Civil Hospital after he complained of some physical problems,
According to public prosecutor IC Jha it was told that the police had wanted Rai to be remanded in 10 days police custody so he can be further interrogated.
Meanwhile, in connection with Chandra Mohan Jha CMJ University chancellor his whereabouts is still unknown. Till today The police are clue less about Jha chancellor CMJ University.(SP News)
