Jowai, June 20: The post of the Deputy Chief Executive Member and two Executive Members in the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council is still lying vacant for two month because the District Council Affair from the government of Meghalaya has not sent the name to the Governor for approval.
Sources closed to the JHADC told SP News Agency that the Chief Executive Members (CEM) of the JHADC has sent the name to the DC(A) but till date the department in charge has not sent to the governor for approval. It’s was told that the three name are still lying in the chief minister office.
The three name sent by the CEM of the JHADC include Mr K M Lytan as the Deputy Chief Executive Member and the are two EM include Mr Amos Dkhar and A H Darnei. If the DC(A) sent this name to the governor for approval the JHADC will have a full fledged team of the Executive Members in the JHADC.
Sources said that the CEM is waiting to get the approval for these three name so that the Executive Committee in the JHADC will have a full fledge team in the Executive Committee.(SP News)
