Shillong, Sept 28: The president of India Pranab Mukherjee will address the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly on the 21st October during the Autumn session. The president will be on a two day visit to the state this will be his maiden visit to Meghalaya after he assume office.
Speaking to SP News Agency the Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly AT Mondal said that the autumn will start on the 4th of October next month and will continue to 21st were the president of India will address the house.
The session will start on the 4th of next month and will continued to 10th and from their there will be a recess to 2oth and the session will resume on the 21st where the president will address the members of the Meghalaya Legislative AssemblyIt is an honour to get this opportunity that the president is addressing the House said the Speaker.
