Shillong, Sept 12: Today early in the morning at around 4.30 am a fire broke out at the Office of Sericulture & Weaving at Dienthare in West Jaintia Hills District the building was completely damage.
The building which was gutted with fire is a Rearing House of the sericulture and weaving department government of Meghalaya. The police are investigating the matter to ascertain the reason behind the incident.
In another incident unknown miscreants attempted to set fire the Office of Range Officer, Soil & Water Conservation Range at Thadlaskein of West Jaintia Hills District but the building was save due to timely intervention from the people and the building was save from major damage.
Unknown miscreants attempted to set fire to the Veterinary Dispensary at Thad-Muthlong in West Jiantia Hills District, The police are investingting the matter to fine out the culprit (SP News)
