Shillong, Nov 30: The Synjuk ki Rangbah shnong of the Shillong City and it souring ding in their meeting which was held today at the Jaiaw Lum Pyllon Dorbar Hall after their long deliberation on the pros and corn of the propose Tenancy Bills of the Government they have taken the decision to reject the Bill.
The SRS take the decision to reject the bill on three ground, the meeting of the Rangbah shnong found that the Tenancy Bill 2013 propose by the state government has no power to check influx or it has no thing to tackle the issued of Influx.
The SRS found that the Bills is undermining the traditional institution which there has been since time of memorial.
And the third point which the SRS found that the Bills is interfering with the right on land, since Meghalaya Land is own by the people and not by the government. (SP News)
