Shillong, Oct 12: The headman of Lyngkhat village bordering Bangladesh Mr Stering Khongkiang was hit by mr Mintu Kuri on Friday night at his residence. The head man was injured in his face.
The reason why Kuri hit the headman was not know by the life of the headman was svae with the immediate intervention by the Village Defence party (VDP from the village, the incident was inform to the Pynursla police station.(SP News)
