Mawphlang, August 10: The Om Namah Shivai Yarta Mawsynram Kawar Sangha a pilgrimage one a year taken by the Hindu believers from Shill
ong to Mawsynram started today where 189 participant taking part in the Yatra.
The organizer of the Yatra told SP News Agency that in this Yatra six female any many children were taking part apart from men. The Yatra started from Mahdev Khula Upper Shillong and they will reach Mawjynbuin cave tomorrow after noon.
All participant in the Yatra they carried with them the holy water and when they reach Mawsynram they pour the water at the Mawjynbuin cave and they will retunred back to Shillong.
On this Yatra all participant has to walk on foot from Shillong ta Mawsynam today thet will hold for a night at Phynnulah Village and from their they will proceed to Mawsynram tomorrow. They use to hold this Yatra on this holy month known as “ Sawan”. (SP News)
