Shillong, May 4: Meritorious students of the College of Teacher Education (PGT), Shillong of the 2012 batch were felicitated at the College premises here on Saturday.
The students were felicitated by Meghalaya Chief Secretary WMS Pariat.
Speaking at the occasion Pariat stressed on the need to improve the educational scenario in the state even as he mentioned that there are various problems which is prevalent in the educational system.
Meanwhile focusing on the increasing needs for trained teachers, Pariat also emphasized on the need for teachers to take their job as a commitment and mission.(SP News)
