Shillong, January 01: The Meghalaya Police has taken stick Virgil on the New Year night in order to prevent any untoward incident in the Shillong Cite as a whole. While conducting raid in suspected palace where liquored where sale illegally place has managed to apprehend many people from different part of the City. In this raid thousands of litters of liquored where ceased by the police.
The locality that where conducted raid are Mawbah, Iew Mawlong, Polo Bazar Nongthymmai Rynjah, Police Bazar and many places. In this raid many people were arrested by the police and many others escape by abandoning the liquored. In this raid both local made and IMFL were ceased by the police.(SP News)
