Tura July 03: Three CRPF personnel were hurt in a major gun battle between security forces and GNLA this morning at Bolsal A’ding, near Resubelpara in North Garo Hills.
The security personnel sustained bullet injuries and have been taken to Down Town Hospital Guwahati for medical aid.
Police say in the encounter two GNLA militant were injured but managed to escape.
Police recovered 3 pistols, 7 wireless phones, 1 clamour mine, 2 grenades, and 130 round of live AK.
Police say that the camp belonged to Philport, the area commander of GNLA. (SP News)
