Three MLA from Assam meet Chief Minister Dr Mukul on low and order in the border

 

Shillong, July 25:  The three MLA from Assam let by Rekibudin Ahamed  parliamentary Secretary accompanied by the MLA from Mangkachar  Javed Islam and MLA from Golagang Abu Taher Berpari met the chief minister of Meghalaya Dr Mukul Sangma to discuss the low and order situation in the border Meghalaya and Assam.

Dr Mukul Sangma told the media that the meeting was to discuss the low and order in the border. At present normalcy has come back in the border which is need more co-operation from the people and rumors should not be allowed to sabotage peace and harmony.

The Chief minister said that he has already spoke to his counterpart the Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi to arrange the meeting at the Chief Secretary level to discuss about the boundary issued.

From the Government of Meghalaya they have already place all the document to the government of Assam about the claim that the government of Meghalaya has put forth.  The dialogue  will continued so that  the boundary should be solved amicably.

This boundary issued has been there for long and it cannot be done in short time, the people who are living in the border area also need to be consulted. The government is take up all effort to solved the bounder issue which is pending for long.(SP News)
