Aizawl, August 13: The Government of Mizoram, through it Horticulture Department will organized a two days Grape Festival starting on 22nd of this month at Champhai.
Tour Operators of Aizawl have arranged a Tour Package for people who would like to attend the Grape Festival for both local and visitors from other states are invited to take part in the festival. Operators have also announced a tour packed for people who wish to visit Mizoram on this festival at a very affordable price of Rs. 4000 per head.
The representative will start receive and assist all the visitors from 20th on arrival at Lengpui airport from the air port they will be taken to respective Hotels. After check-in the room we’ll proceed to KV. Paradise Durtlang to watching sun set time and back to Aizawl by night.
During this festival all visitors will be taken to different place for site seeing, like Rih Dil lake in Mynamar which is a famous heart shaped lake where ancestors believed a person goes after he died.
It is located in Myanmar region. There are many interesting things to do like: boating, lakeside restaurant, trekking, visiting Buddhist’s monasteries and others. This is a great opportunity to visit a small local village of Myanmar call RihKhawDar and experience their lifestyle and talk with the locals.
These Grape Festival is also aiming to attract tourist from others part of the Country to visit Mizoram. The festival mode will start from 20th and will be concluded on the 25th of this month but the main Grape Festival on the 22th and the 23th at Champhai.(SP News)
