Shillong, August 19: The Governor of Meghalaya Dr K K Paul has approved to the setting up of the Directorate of Anti-Infiltration, Meghalaya with headquarters in Shillong. This was informed by the Commissioner and Secretary, Home (Police) Department government of Meghalaya.
The Directorate will be headed by an officer of the rank of Additional Director Generalof Police or Inspector General of Police for effectively dealing with the problem of illegal influx of foreign nationals from across the international border.(SP News)
