Shillong Sept 08: The NGO’s met today and decided to intensified their agitation against the government decision not to implement the Inner Line Permit in the state of Meghalaya, to put pressure on the state government to revoke the decision the NGO call again the night Road blocked from the 10 to 13 of this month.
The Night Road Blocked will start from 7 PM in the evning to 5 Am in the morning, this was announced by the Vice president of the KSU Fredric Kharkongor that the decision was taken in the meeting of all the NGOs.
In the press statement the NGO stand is clear that they want the Government to implement the ILP, after these noght road blocked they will again meet on the 14 of this month to decide for the future course of action. If the Government fail to accept their demand they will continued with their agitation.
From the NGOs they have requested the public to lent their support in the agitation so that not to allowed any person who take advantage to malign the image of the organization to avoid any untoward incident the NGOs request the public to cooperate in this agitation.(SP News)
