To intensified the agitation on the demand for ILP, NGOs call for 24 hours bandh

Shillong, Oct 15: The thirteen NGOs of the state of Meghalaya today announced that they are calling the 24 hours bandh on the 17 of this month which will start from 5 AM in the morming and will end on the 18 at 5 AM in the morming, the agitation was call to put pressure on the government to implement the ILP in the state of Meghalaya.

The Vice president of the KSU  Fredrick Kharmawphlang announced this today to the media. The NGO also condemn the government action in arresting NGOs leader and alleged them that they are involved in many incident, the KSU Vice president said that NGOs are being target by the government.

The Vice president said that after the police have arrested two non tribal from Nongmynsong all incident has been under control. The state of affair is that these people were released  but NGO leader were book under various law said Fredrick Kharmawphlang.

The organization condemn the state government for arresting the Information and Publicity secretary of the FKJGP,Eldie N Lyngdoh alleg that he is involved in attempting arson on the Puja Pandal at Umsning, the Vice president of the KSU said that this is an allegation just to tarnish the image of the organization.(SP News)
