Shillong March 10: The Tibetan community who are residing in Shillong today take up the candle light procession at the capital to commemorate the 54th National Uprising day, where thousand of people take part starting from Jhalupara and end in their monastery at Upper Lumparing.
In the morning the Tibetan community holds their prayer meeting at Upper Lumparing where their monastery stands. This prayer meeting they have prayer for all thus people who has made their sacrifice in fighting the Chinese occupation of Tibet.
The Tibet community who scatter and lives in different part of the glob today gather together in any place where ever they are to urged the world to help them to liberate Tibet for the occupation of the Chinese.(SP News)
