Shillong, Dec 02: The NGO’s who ere demanding for the Implementation of the Inner Line Permit in the state of Meghalaya has call for the three days night road blocked fron 4th ot 6th of this month the time ming is from 9pm to 5 am in the morning.
The Vice President of the Khasi Students Union (KSU) Fredrick Kharmawphlang in the press statement issued today said that the NGO’s has call for the night road blocked because many student still having their examination.
The NGO’s are firm with their demand that the state government should implement the ILP, their will be no deviation from their stand. If the government dose not implements the ILP the agitation will be more aggressive and the government has to take the responsibility for any eventualities that might take place, said the Vice president of the KSU.
The KSU leader said that if the Government is still remaining adamant to their demand the agitation will be more aggressive, the demand for the implementation of the ILP is not the demand of the NGO’s alone but it was the demand of the indigenous people of Meghalaya. (SP News)
