Shillong, Oct 27: The president of the Goro Student Union Tengsak G Momin announced that the NGO had call for the night road blocked from 29 to 31 of this month to put pressure on the government to implement the ILP in the state of Meghalaya.
The road blocked will start at 7pm in the evening to 5 am in the morning. The GSU president said that the adamant attitude of the government to implement the ILP in the state of Meghalaya has force them to call the agitation.
The Tenancy Bill of the government will only protect the outsider alleged the GSU President. The Government should not mislead the public by the proposed bill this bill will enable the Bangladeshi to get settle in Meghalaya specially in the coal belt areas.(SP News)
