Shillong, November 30: The race for the youth who are willing to inter into the police profession live are on in the two place one at Mawiong and the others at Tura. The basic criteria that was laid down is that the high for tribal male is 157 cm , for non-tribal 162 cm and for female is 152 cm.
Speaking to SP News Agency the DSP headquarter said that anyone who quailed the prescribe measurement are illegible for the race. The measurement is done through the computer system in order to get the exact high.
While answering to the question that many youth where turn down form the race, the DSP clarified that any person who did not qualified according to the prescribe norm will not entertain. The question of rejecting, any aspiring candidate dose not arises.
In the first three days they were conduction their race up to eleven pm night time, the reason is due to many candidate where listed out so they could not complete during day time so they have to carried out late night.(SP News)
