Shillong Dec 4: One Tobias Tiewsoh was arrested from Sohra by the Shillong Police on Tuesday in connection with a fraud case.
The Shillong Police brought Tiewsoh to Shillong and registered a case against him for misusing Rs 10 lakh belonging to the fund of the Shella dorbar.
It may be mentioned here that Tiewsoh is the suspended Secretary of Shella Dorbar Shnong.
Police sources informed that Tiewsoh was brought to shillong for further interrogation besides it was also informed that he was arrested following a complaint received from the Wahadadar of Shella Confederacy who alleged that the accused was involved in misappropriating the Dorbar’s money worth Rs 10 lakhs.(SP News)
