Shillong, May 29: The superintendent of Police East Khasi Hills has informed that big trucks will not be allowed to enter and park at Mawlonghat area from 8 am to 8 pm.
The truck comprises of those having 10 to 12 tyres. The decision was taken as such trucks enter the area in the morning and are unable to exit due to their size and heavy traffic in the area.
It was also informed that dealer of consumer goods who desire to unload the goods from such trucks at Mawlonghat area are requested to do so before 8 am and exit immediately.
