Shillong, August 20: TUR ( Thma U Rangli Juki) extends its solidarity to the DSC passed candidates of West Khasi Hills and Ri Bhoi, East Khasi Hills and Garo Hills Districts who have been forced to agitate to secure their rights to work.
It is shocking that the DSC mess does not seem to end. All over the state and for several years now the plight of DSC candidates remains unchanged owing to the non transparent manner in which Government employment is decided and the illegal favouritsm and backdoor adhoc appointments done by those in power.
TUR urges the Government to stop perpetuating this systemic discrimination of the youth by denial of their justified and hard earned right to gainful employment.
TUR also calls upon all the youth who have faced exploitation and discrimination to unite and join the movement to clean up the system. (SP News)
