Tura, Sept 19: Suspected militant outfit today at around 1.30 am mid nights fired at the house of Ganadra Hajong at Gorobada in South West Garo Hills in the firing two person die on the spot and two others were injured.
In this random firing from the militants the vife of Mr Hajong Smti Sriduba A Sangma and Anirud Hajong died on the sport, while Miss Jetika Hajong and Chandrabala Hajong were injured both were shifted to hospital for treatment.
The police launched the combing operation in the area to nap the militant. The police are on high alert in the area to see that the incident will not escalate in others part of the Garo Hills.(SP News)
