Two KSU leaders where released on bail

Shillong, May 08: The two Khasi Student Union (KSU) leaders who where arrested by the Meghalaya police on the alleged involvement of vandalism at Laitumkhrah on the awakening day call by the organization on the 4th April today was released on bail by the court.

The KSU all along has made their demand clear that the government should released the two members of the organization Mr Johny Lyngdoh and Teiborlang Lyngdoh unconditionally which the police has opposed to the demand made by the KSU.

The Superintendent of police  East Khasi Hills Mr M Kharkrang said that the KSU members where released on bail by the court today.(SP News)
