Jowai, August 23: The police of Jowai Police Station this morning found that Mr Kitbor Kassar 24, and Mr Daphah Salanmi Rupon 26 has committed suicide at Jowai Police station inside the lock up.
The Superintendent of Police of West Jaintia Hills Mr HG Lyngdoh told SP news Agency that the police found them hanging inside the lock. They have taken the magisterial inquest and the mater is under investigation to fine out why this incident took place.
Acording to the police they have arrested the two person base on the FIR file by Smti Mariabiang Lyngdoh Sub Manager of North East Region Finnance Service, to the effect that one motor cycle no ML 04A 3386 was stolen from compound at Mynthong on 19.8.13 midnight.
The police detected the motor cycle from 8th Mile area along with the accused Shri Kitbok Kassar of Mynthong. Regd vide Jwi ps c/no 153(8)13 u/s 448/379/34 ipc. investigation on Another two accused persons namely Daphah Salanmi Rupon of Salaroh and Damechanki Kyndait of Mookyrdup were arrested in connection with yesterday and thety wer booked under the motor cycle theft case.(SP News)
