Shillong, Jan 12: United Democratic Party, Working president Paul Lyngdoh informed that the remaining list of the candidates who will contest in the coming Assembly election will be released latest by January 21.
The Party will decide the names of the remaining candidate at a meeting which will be convene during a meeting which will be held on January 21.
When asked Lyngdoh about the reason the party taking long time to list out the names, he said that there was a no co-ordination among the party members which led to the delay.
“In the next meeting the party is certain to list out the names,” Lyngdoh confirmed.
It may be mentioned that so far 44 candidates have been listed out by the party and 16 names are still pending.
