Shillong, march 21: The Urban Affair minister Smti Ampareen Lyngdoh today she personally went to meet the people of Mawlai at Mawdatbaki Indoor Stadium.
Urban affair minister in her speeches she deeply express her regret for the remark that she has made particularly to the Mawlai which hurt the sentiment of the people . At the same time she also said that she will always be there work for the betterment of the people.
The MLA of Mawlai Mr Embhah Syiemlieh on behalf of the people of Mawlai apologies for what has happen, but all what happen is for the better coordination for the good of the people.
Mr Syiemlieh told SP News Agency that he will again met the urban affair minister to discuss with her about the development of Mawlai town area. He was thankful to the Minister who take her keen interest in sorting out the problem that have arises.
In the meeting the local MDC Mr Process T Sawkmie was also present. In these meeting hundreds of people from Mawlai have attended the meeting both men and women.(SP News)
