Shillong, April 22: The Village Defence party of Pongtung village south of Pynursla police station East Khasi Hills District has done good work by arresting three person who tried to kidnap Mr Nitu Kuri of Lyngkhat Village.
The VDP come to know about the incident at around 5.30 in the evening and rushed to the side, they caught the three person who were attempting to kidnap Mr Kuri, three person known as Tensing Khaonglah a sunder Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council from Lapang, Markos Khongsan of Nongtyngur village and Willson Mukhim of Mawpat.
The VDP after arresting them from their position they recover on pistol and two mobile.(SP News)
