Shillong, August 22: The president of the West Khasi Hills District Congress Committee (DCC) Smti Eureka P Lyngdoh said that the Mawthadraishan Block Congress Committee has been dissolved on the 12 of this month.
Speaking to SP news Agency, Smti Lyngdoh said that the dissolution is part of the party Organization. The DCC has dissolved the MBCC since there are party workers who have left the party just before the MLA election but after the election they have again joint back to the party.
In order to give fair participation in the party functionary at the block level they have dissolved the previous MBCC and soon they will re-organized the party by holding new election so that all will get equal participation in the party functionary.
While answering to quires Smti Lyngdoh said that the MDC of the Pariong Constituency Smti Irin Lyngdoh has joint back to the Congress party and she was accepted by the party. The DCC president denied that there is no difference among party workers but the dissolution of the MBCC is purely to re organized the party. (SP News)
