Whose name came up in the CBI report should be penalized by the government:NGO’s

Shillong NOv 12: Showing strong resentment over the alleged irregularities in appointment of Assistant teachers in government primary schools in the state, the Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo people hold a public rally at Mothpran to protest against the anomalies following the recent CBI probe. The public rally was also joined hands by various civil organisations which comprises of the KSU, CSWO, SSSS, HNYF, RBYF besides others.

In protesting against the alleged CBI probe which alleged irregularities in the appointment of assistant teachers in the government Lower Primary Schools in the state and indictment of former education minister Ampareen Lyngdoh for the role in manipulation of score sheets of the candidates the leaders of various Civil organisations condemned the persons involved besides they also demanded those people whose name came up in the CBI report should be punished by the government.

Addressing the public rally CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing lamented over the irregularities that was present in the appointment of teachers in lower primary schools. Agnes said this is that in most of the cases those involve were let free as nobody came forward and dare to complaint against them. However, this time the irregularities came up because of the hardwork of those deserving candidates who filed complaints and dig out the truth.Besides she also said that the organisation would fil an FIR against the chief Minister if he would not do anything anything those ministers, MLA’s, MDC’s besides other if it would not do anything against them.

Besides, Prsiedent of the Khasi Students Union daniel Khyriem while condemning the persons involve in tampering the score sheets of deserving candidates said that we cannot live up the expectations of the candidates who are deserving if so much of irregualrities is present in the selection process. “This will discourage those who study hard and top in the selection test  for any job appointment.(SP News)
