Why health department stop producing rabies medicine from Lawmali

Shillong, January 01:  The health department government of Meghalaya has stop producing rabies medicine from the Pasture Institute and Medical researched Institute, Shillong since the last three years the reason was not know why the government has done so.

According to report received by the SP News Agency said that, the government has taken the decision without taking into consideration about the rabies patients. At present all the medicines for rabies are procured from outside the state and the cost per injection is Rs.300 for thus people who do not have the BLP Cards.

Sources said that the government servant who are engaged in manufacturing medicines are utilizes in the same institute for others work which is not mend for them. Question arises instead the government should modernized the institute government stop it function. (SP News)
