Shillong, December 13: Why the Government cancel wholesale dealer on Public Distribution System for Mawsynram Block?. The fair price shop dealer falls under the block have to come all the way to Shillong to lift the rice, sugar for distribution to their respective area.
Many of the Fair price shop dealer from Mawsynram Block while speaking to SP News Agency, said that government has cancel the two wholesale dealers of the Mawsynram Block since the beginning of the 2012 the reason behind is best known to the government.
The fair price shop dealer from different villages’ falls under the Mawsynram block has to come all the way to Shillong to life the rice and sugar. The margin profit that mends for them has been taken away while paying the transportation cost from Shillong to Mawsynram.
Sources told SP News Agency that the government till date have not clarified weather the will bear the transportation cost. Many of the fair price shop dealer said that the government should not play politics and made the people suffer.(SP News)
