No official complain has received on government website

Shillong, November 08: The information technology minister government of Meghalaya Mr AL Hek said that till date the department has not received any official complain that government website are not updating regularly.

Speaking to SP News Agency the minister said that if such complain is lodge with the department they will direct the department concern to update it. The minister said that the department cannot direct anybody until there is a written complains.

When pointed out that the website www.dcshillong.nic.in of the East Khasi is still mention that East Khasi Hills is one of the seven districts of the state Meghalaya, the minister said he is yet to verified.  What has appear in the DC Shillong website is as given below.

“East Khasi Hills is one of the 7 (seven) districts of the State of Meghalaya. The district occupies an area of 2748 Sq Km. And it lies between 25°07” & 25°41” N Lat. And 91°21” & 92°09” E Long. Bounded by Ri-Bhoi District on the north, Karbi Anglong District on the north east, Jaintia Hills district on the east, Bangladesh on the south and West Khasi Hills district on the west.” (SP News)
