Shillong, Jan 13: The Garo Students’ Union (GSU), Central Executive Committee, through its President and Chief Advisor, vehemently condemns the savage and cold blooded killing of Shri Dilseng M. Sangma, a member of ACHIK NG0, who was brutally assaulted on 9th January, 2026 at around 2:00 PM at Goalgaon under Rajabala Police Station.
On the way to medical intervention, he succumbed to his grievous injuries, exposing the utter breakdown of law and order.This barbaric crime is an open challenge to the rule of law.
The GSU demands the immediate identification, arrest, and prosecution of all those involved, with no leniency whatsoever. The harshest punishment under the law must be ensured to send an unambiguous message that such brutality will not be tolerated.
Any delay or dilution in the investigation will be treated as administrative failure, compelling the GSU to respond through all democratic means. Justice must be swift, exemplary, and uncompromising, said Mr. Teng’sak Gabil Momin President and Manseng A Sangma Central Executive Committee Chief Advisor of the GSU.
