Shillong, April 03: Ms. Balarisha Thyrniang, Deputy Controller of Civil Defence, Eastern West Khasi Hills, Mairang today won the Bronze Medal in the 10 Km Women Race Event at the Khelo India Tribal Game, 2026 being held in Chattisgarh.
Representing Meghalaya in the Khelo India Tribal Game, 2026, Ms. Thyrniang completed the race in 42 mins, 29 seconds etc and secured the third position in the 10 KM Women Race Event.
It maybe mentioned that last year, Ms. Thyrniang had secured the 1st Position in her age category and was placed 3rd in the overall women category at the Asia Tata Mumbai Marathon held in Mumbai.
