Meghalaya C.M attended the conference of state finance ministers’ in Delhi

Shillong, Sept 19: Attended the Conference of State Finance Ministers’ and Finance Secretaries’ on “Financing India’s Journey towards Viksit Bharat” at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

The discussions on strengthening public finances, innovative financing, agriculture, energy transition, technology and measuring growth through GSDP were particularly relevant to Meghalaya’s own economic journey.

Through Mission 10, Meghalaya is pursuing a focused transformation agenda across key sectors, with an emphasis on creating opportunities, strengthening infrastructure, supporting livelihoods and enterprises, and building a more resilient and sustainable economy.

As the Government work towards their vision for Meghalaya in 2032, platforms such as these provide valuable opportunities to learn from other States, engage with experts and explore new approaches to financing development.
