Shillong, Jan 10: The KSU Jaintia Hills District unit came up with a statement condemning the officials of the Top Cem company in Jaintia Hills for giving false allegations against the four home guards personnel deployed in Top Cem.
It may be mentioned here that recently four home guards was alleged of assulting the officials of the cement plant including its assistant general manager.
Informing reporters here on Thursday Organising Secretary of the KSU Jaintia Hills District unit Nangaibormi Sutnga said that the officials of Top Cem alleged the home guards for assuting the officials of the cement plant including its assistant general manager which is not at all true.
Terming that the allegations made was just a plan to remove the Home Guards from the company, Sutnga said, “The officials of Top Cem want to sack all Khasi security guards working in the company” adding that they wanted to bring their own people from Delhi.
He also informed that not only the four employees alleged in the crime were sacked but instead the company sacked around forty five Khasi employees.
Irked over such misappropriation of authority the KSU demanded that all twenty officials responsible in inciting the crime shoould be removed with immediate effect adding that even the CEO of the Company SK Rai should also be removed from the post.(SP News)
